Asif Azim and Pratyusha Banerjee dance to famous Bengali folk song

Pratyusha 'Anandi' Banerjee has got herself a Bong buddy in the Bigg Boss house. The 'Balika Vadhu', who is pally with Kamya, has found another friend in fellow Bengali Asif Azim. In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 7, the two Bengalis were seen chatting up in their mother tongue and bonding big time.

When Asif, the Bangladesh-born model requested Pratyusha, whom he addressed by her pet name Piu, to sing a song, saying, "Piu, ekta Bangla gaan shonao," The TV actress started crooning Saadher lau. This gesture, obviously had an emotional effect on Asif as the song, a famous Bangaladeshi folk number sung by Runa Laila, made Asif break into an impromptu jig. The two of them, one a resident of Jannat and another, Jahannum, were seen shaking a leg to the song from both sides of the barrier.

Shilpa Saklani and Tanishaa Mukherji, who ware also present there, were seen smiling and cheering the two on, while Asif explained the meaning of the lyrics to them. Shilpa and Tanisha had both heard of Runa Laila before but the two couldn't help contain their surprise when Asif explained that the song actually talks about how a gourd (lauki, the vegetable) is made into a dugdugi by a banjara singer.

Salman Khan wishes Elli’s father

It seems like Salman Khan's fondness for Ellie Avram doesn't end as after flirting and impressing Elli on Colors' Bigg Boss 7, the Dabanng actor will take a step ahead and wish Ellie's father on his birthday.

Source says, "Ellie was seen crying alone in the washroom. However, it was later revealed that it is Elli's father, Janice Avram's birthday and for the first time Elli is not with her father on his birthday."

When Salman learnt about the situation, without wasting a single minute he wished Elli's father a happy birthday on national Television and assured that his daughter is safe in the house. Elli on the other hand wished her father too with singing a Hindi song, 'Ajeeb Daastan Hai Yeh', which she learnt from Apurva.

Well! not only Salman Khan, we too will not waste a minute and wish Elli's father a happy birthday!

Thank god, I'm not in 'Bigg Boss 7': Shweta Tiwari

Actress Shweta Tiwari, winner of "Bigg Boss 4", is horrified after seeing the kind of tasks being given to the inmates in the current season of the reality show.

After watching 'Bigg Boss' this time, I feel that thank god I was not there. (I am happy that) I participated in the show's earlier season and not this one," Shweta told reporters here Thursday at dancer and vocalist Giaa Khan's Odissi dance rehearsals.

Talking about the tasks, she said: "You can see somebody is sleeping in the cow dung, somebody is getting his half head shaved and somebody is getting electric shocks. It is very difficult and I think with each season, it will get more difficult."

"Bigg Boss Saath 7", which went on air Sep 15, is becoming crazier with each day.

This week saw Ratan Rajput taking a dip in a bathtub full of cow dung, Apurva Agnihotri and Sangram Singh went for pop-punk hairstyle and Pratyusha Banerjee was seen taking electric shocks as part of luxury tasks in the house.

Anita Advani wants to teach Armaan Kohli a lesson!

Anita Advani, who claims to have been the live-in partner of late actor Rajesh Khanna, says 'Bigg Boss 7' has helped her in getting a break from the past despite her eviction from the reality show.

Anita has been in the headlines ever since the death of the superstar last year when she filed a complaint in a Mumbai court against Dimple Kapadia and her family under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. The matter is now in the Bombay High Court.

Anita says living under the same roof with 14 people for three weeks took her away from all her problems. Yesterday, she became the third contestant to get evicted from 'Bigg Boss 7'.

"The 'Bigg Boss' experience helped me break my depression in a way. I was living in a different world. It was difficult. But participating in this type of a show was new to me and a welcome change from my past life. I hope things are different from now on," Anita told .

On the show, Anita shared a good rapport with co-contestant Armaan Kohli, who is the son of veteran producer-director Rajkumar Kohli, the helmer of 1988 film "Saazish", in which she starred along side Mithun Chakraborty.

However, Anita is very disappointed to know that Armaan had lied about saving her from nominations this week, when he actually voted for Kamya Panjabi.

"I cannot believe Armaan would do such a thing to me. He was always so nice and warm. This is such a shame. We go back a long time and such behaviour from him is shocking. I guess I am just too vulnerable and gullible and people take advantage of this," Anita said.

When asked if she would like to go back to the controversial house again as a wild card entry, Anita said, "If given a chance, I would definitely love to go back to teach Armaan a lesson.
